En esta tesis, nos centramos en el estudio de los miembros de la familia de factores de transcripci\u00f3n ikaros. Los miembros que se expresan en el primordio embrionario del n\u00facleo estriado, eminencia ganglionar lateral (egl), son helios e ikaros. nuestros resultados demuestran que helios se expresa en la egl tanto en las zonas donde habitan los precursores neurales como en las zonas de precursores m\u00e1s diferenciados. Presenta una elevada relaci\u00f3n con marcadores de precursores neuronales inmaduros con la nestina. Los estudios realizados in vitro demuestran que la sobreexpresi\u00f3n de helios induce un aumento en la neurog\u00e9nesis y una reducci\u00f3n en la astrog\u00e9nesis. En cambio, los estudios realizados con ikaros demuestran que esta prote\u00edna est\u00e1 localizada exclusivamente en la zona donde residen los precursores neuronales postmit\u00f3ticos. La presente tesis demuestra que ikaros induce la salida de ciclo de los precursores neurales regulando el ciclo celular. As\u00ed pues, ikaros induce una salida del estado proliferante regulando los niveles de la prote\u00edna p21 y favoreciendo la diferenciaci\u00f3n hacia fenotipos neuronales.
