Estas estructuras son fundamentales para analizar el retardo de puertas cmos din\u00e1micas y est\u00e1ticas. Se parte de modelos existentes incorporando expresiones anal\u00edticas, en algunos casos emp\u00edricas, que relacionan par\u00e1metros entre si reduciendo as\u00ed el tiempo de extracci\u00f3n, a\u00f1adiendo par\u00e1metros nuevos que mejoran la descripci\u00f3n de los modelos y realizando un estudio exhaustivo del comportamiento con la temperatura. Este estudio permite comprender la degradaci\u00f3n de las caracter\u00edsticas del transistor mos a temperaturas elevadas ya conocidas, pero lo m\u00e1s importante es que proporciona una explicaci\u00f3n de porqu\u00e9 los mecanismos de compensaci\u00f3n de par\u00e1metros (movilidad y tensi\u00f3n umbral) a nivel de transistor no se trasladan a nivel de puerta l\u00f3gica.
