Veremos que la respuesta es \u00f3ptima para una proporci\u00f3n intermedia de enlaces repulsivos, y por lo tanto vamos a utilizar la expresi\u00f3n \u00abresonancia inducida por interacciones competitivas\u00bb, en analog\u00eda con los conocidos efectos de resonancia estoc\u00e1stica y resonancia inducida por diversidad.  a continuaci\u00f3n vamos a estudiar c\u00f3mo las interacciones competitivas afectan a la respuesta a las se\u00f1ales externas  &#8211;  publicidad &#8211; en el modelo de formaci\u00f3n de opini\u00f3n de deffuant et al. . Se trata de un tipo intr\u00ednsecamente diferente de sistema y, como tal, tanto el mecanismo de respuesta, as\u00ed como los resultados, son bastante diferentes. La presencia de interacciones competitivas puede impedir la formaci\u00f3n de grupos de agentes, cuya opini\u00f3n se encuentra fuera de la cuenca de influencia de la se\u00f1al externa. Vamos a comprobar que una sociedad de mentalidad estrecha s\u00f3lo puede formar un consenso en respuesta a la influencia de la publicidad si los agentes interaccionan a trav\u00e9s de una combinaci\u00f3n de v\u00ednculos positivos y repulsivos.   por \u00faltimo, vemos las condiciones para la sincronizaci\u00f3n con una se\u00f1al externa en un sistema de osciladores van der pol, haciendo hincapi\u00e9 en el hecho de que la probabilidad de enlaces repulsivos que desincroniza los osciladores entre ellos, es la misma que es capaz de sincronizar todo el sistema con un forzamiento
