Este metodo de purificacion es el complemento de un ensayo de amplificacion por pcr de secuencias satelite de trypanosoma cruzi desarrollado para la deteccion del parasito en pacientes con la enfermedad de chagas. El sistema de deteccion por pcr ha sido validado comparandolo con otros metodos parasitologicos de referencia, como el hemocultivo y el xenodiagnostico, en cuatro poblaciones naturalmente infectadas con t.
