Los geles supramoleculares son materiales blandos formados por el ensamblaje de mol\u00e9culas de bajo peso molecular mediante interacciones de naturaleza no covalente. En estos materiales la informaci\u00f3n (estructura y funci\u00f3n) se transfiere del nivel molecular al supramolecular. En muchos casos las redes fibrilares que forman los geles son microcristalinas presentando los grupos funcionales altamente organizados, hecho que puede afectar a sus propiedades catal\u00edticas.  se ha preparado una familia de organogelantes derivados de l-prolina y se ha estudiado su capacidad organocatal\u00edtica tanto en disoluci\u00f3n como en fase gel en diferentes reacciones y disolventes.
