Se con firma la preferencia de este microorganismo por la hidroxilaci\u00f3n ecuatorial en c-3 y la epoxidaci\u00f3n del doble enlace exoc\u00edclico, adem\u00e1s de obtenerse, por primera vez en una biotransformaci\u00f3n con un hongo del g\u00e9nero mucor, derivados ent-kaur\u00e9nicos glu cosilados. Se observa que la presencia de un grupo \u00e1cido en c-19 inhibe la oxidaci\u00f3n en c-3 y c-6. Por otra parte, la hidroxilaci\u00f3n en c-11(beta) tiene lugar con los tres sustratos, indicando que puede estar inducida por la presencia del 15-alfa-hidr oxilo. tambi\u00e9n se realizan estudios de biotransformaci\u00f3n con el hongo gibberella fujikuroi, empleando sustratos diterp\u00e9nicos de distintos esqueletos. De la incubaci\u00f3n de los derivados de ent-kaur-9(11),16-dieno se deduce que la presencia del doble en lace endoc\u00edclico, a pesar de alterar la conformaci\u00f3n del esqueleto diterp\u00e9nico, no impide su reconocimiento molecular por las enzimas del microorganismo, permitiendo su biotransformaci\u00f3n. Los derivados de ent-atis-16-eno muestran diferencias de compo rtamiento con respectos a sus an\u00e1logos de ent-kaur-16-eno, las cuales atribuimos al impedimento est\u00e9rico producido por los anillos c\/d. Por su parte, los resultados obtenidos en la incubaci\u00f3n del acetato de trachinol con g. Fujikuroi muestran que la presencia de un grupo acetato en c-7 impide la hidroxilaci\u00f3n de c-6, comport\u00e1ndose de manera similar a compuestos an\u00e1logos de ent-kaureno. finalmente, se llevaron a cabo transformaciones qu\u00edmicas sobre diterpenos convenientemente funcionalizados, par a obtener giberelinas o an\u00e1logos. Se sintetizaron diterpenos portadores de un grupo oxo en c-7 y se sometieron a reacci\u00f3n con dib en medio b\u00e1sico, obteni\u00e9ndose, seg\u00fan las funciones presentes en c-18 \u00f3 c-19, deshidrogenaci\u00f3n en c-5,c-6 para generar la  cetona alfa-beta-insaturada, formaci\u00f3n del correspondiente 6-cetal, o bien la contracci\u00f3n del anillo b
