Mailako ikasleek zein irakasleek, gizon eta emakumeen berdintasuna nola hautematen duten mugatzea, gai honi buruz dituzten usteak eta gogoetak ezagutzea eta formazioa hobetzeari begira egiten dituzten proposamenak jasotzea. Bestalde, generoari eta neska-mutilen berdintasunari tradizionalki hezkuntza sisteman eman zaion trataera ezagutzea.  ikerketa hau, kasu azterketa bat da, gasteizko irakasle eskolako kasua, hain zuzen ere. Irakasle eskolako egoera errealitate horren partaideen begietatik ezagutu eta ulertu nahi da. informazioa galdetegien bitartez jaso da ikasle zein irakasleengandik, eta, hainbat eztabaida-talde burutu dira eurekin galdetegian jasotako informazioa osatzeko eta alderatzeko. datuen azterketarako nvivo 8 programa erabili da, batez ere, kategorizazioa egiteko.  ondorioek erakusten dute ikasleen ustez hezkuntzan desberdintasunik ez dagoela eta ez dutela lehentasunezko gaia ikusten eta.
