Se han desarrollado tres procedimientos paralelos de generacion de patrones de test (atpgs) que aprovechan las posibilidades del cooperativo de varios procesadores para acelerar la busqueda de patrones y\/o aumentar la complejidad de los circuitos tratables. Ademas, las herramientas desarrolladas se basan en una tecnica de busqueda diferente a la que utilizan otros procedimientos paralelos presentados hasta el momento. Esta nueva estrategia utiliza los coeficientes de reed-muller para generar las ecuaciones de test y obtener algunas de sus soluciones, con las que se construye el conjunto de patrones de test del circuito.  por consiguiente, la tesis supone una contribucion en la busqueda de procedimientos que aprovechan el paralelismo para acelerar la resolucion del problema de la generacion de patrones de test. Esta tendencia resulta cada vez mas interesante a medida que el hardware para el procesamiento paralelo (multiprocesadores y multicomputadores) es mas asequible, eficaz, y comun, y se esta aplicando a
