Carmen <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Se ha descrito una actividad organofosfor- hidrolasa en higado humano capaz de hidrolizar (dietil 4-nitrofenil fosfato) (paraoxon), conocida como paraoxonasa.Los estudios de distribucion subcelular mediante centrifugacion diferencial sugieren una localizacion mayoritaria en la fraccion microsomial.El enzima presenta las caracteristicas de una proteina de membrana integral.  la actividad paraoxonasa en higado humano es dependiente de calcio. El ph optimo es de 10-10,5. La temperatura optima se estima en 40 grados centigrados. Los valores de km obtenidos (0,29 ml) son indicativos de una alta actividad por el sustrato. La actividad paraoxonasa hepatica humana es inhibida por edta, ba, la, co, zn, cu, hg, p-ohmb y afm.
