De ellas depender\u00e1 que los posibles impactos ambientales generados durante su construcci\u00f3n y explotaci\u00f3n no supongan un detrimento inadmisible de la calidad ambiental.   la tipolog\u00eda de medidas que se vienen aplicando desde hace m\u00e1s de veinte a\u00f1os en durante el proceso de evaluaci\u00f3n de impacto ambiental (eia) var\u00eda en funci\u00f3n del origen del impacto. En esta tesis se analizar\u00e1n las medidas destinadas al impacto ecol\u00f3gico que generan las carreteras, as\u00ed como los aspectos que influyen su adecuado dise\u00f1o, ejecuci\u00f3n,y funcionamiento y vigilancia para conseguir la eficacia buscada. Tambi\u00e9n se examinan los presupuestos que se invierten en las mismas. Para su an\u00e1lisis se han revisado diferentes estudios de impacto ambiental, proyectos de construcci\u00f3n de carreteras y planes de vigilancia ambiental. Igualmente, se elabor\u00f3 una encuesta para recabar la opini\u00f3n de los diferentes agentes implicados de alg\u00fan modo en la creaci\u00f3n y funcionamiento de las medidas.  en esta tesis se muestra un especial inter\u00e9s por las medidas compensatorias, cuya aplicaci\u00f3n es relativamente reciente en espa\u00f1a y sus criterios de implantaci\u00f3n no est\u00e1n demasiado consensuados como en otro tipo de medidas. Se pretende dar pautas claras sobre cu\u00e1les deben ser sus principios de aplicaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como la percepci\u00f3n de la idoneidad de las medidas que se han puesto en pr\u00e1ctica en algunos proyectos de carreteras.     abstract preventive, corrective and compensatory measures implemented in road projects are a key issue in order to achieve the environmental integration of these infrastructures.  The right application of these measures will determine that the impacts generated during the construction and operation phases do not involve an inadmissible loss of environmental quality.   the different types of measures that have been applied in environmental impact assessments for more than twenty years vary depending on the origin of the impact. This thesis focuses on the measures adopted to reduce the ecological impact produced by roads, as well as on the aspects that determine the right design, implementation, operation and monitoring of these measures in order to achieve the desired efficiency. The thesis also examines the budgets that are dedicated to implement these measures. In order to do that, several environmental impact studies, road construction projects and environmental monitoring plans have been reviewed. Also a survey was developed to obtain the opinion of stakeholders.  special attention is paid on compensatory measures due to their recent introduction in spain that determine that criteria about their implementation are not as generally agreed as with the other measures.
