Esta descrito que esta mapk interacciona con erk1\/2, favoreciendo su entrada en el n\u00facleo, y su permanencia en estado fosforilado. Con esta base, y contando con l\u00edneas celulares en las cuales, mediante el empleo de rnas de interferencia, se pod\u00eda eliminar la expresi\u00f3n end\u00f3gena de mxi2 comenzamos este estudio. Tambi\u00e9n empleamos distintos mutantes de mxi2, los cuales presentaban alterada esta capacidad de interaccionar con erk1\/2. Otro punto que abordamos, partiendo de los datos recopilados en esta primera parte del estudio, fue el conocimiento de nuevas funciones nucleares de control de ciclo celular de la map quinasa erk1\/2, a parte de las v\u00edas conocidas hasta el momento, como es la regulaci\u00f3n de la entrada en ciclo celular por una inducci\u00f3n de la expresi\u00f3n de ciclina d, la fosforilaci\u00f3n de elk. en esta apartado del estudio caracterizamos una acci\u00f3n desconocida de erk1\/2, que act\u00faa liberando rb de su interacci\u00f3n con lamina a, mediante un mecanismo de competencia directa por la misma regi\u00f3n de lamina a entre rb y erk1\/2. Este desplazamiento produce una liberaci\u00f3n y fosforilaci\u00f3n de rb, que promueve la entrada en ciclo celular. finalmente asociamos estos datos con la acci\u00f3n de mxi2, viendo como mxi2
