Compuestos oxigenados como los acetales prometen ser buenos candidatos para su utilizaci\u00f3n como aditivos en combustibles diesel al mejorar su \u00edndice de cetano, al mismo tiempo que mejoran su estabilidad a la oxidaci\u00f3n y disminuyen las emisiones de \u00f3xidos de nitr\u00f3geno. La gran ventaja de este acetal es que tiene un origen potencial totalmente renovable, ya que el alcohol se puede obtener por v\u00eda fermentativa mientras que el aldeh\u00eddo se puede obtener bien a partir de la deshidrogenaci\u00f3n de su correspondiente alcohol, o bien por la oxigenaci\u00f3n parcial de \u00e9ste \u00faltimo.  este tipo de reacciones presentan grandes l\u00edmites termodin\u00e1micos obteni\u00e9ndose bajas conversiones en sistemas de reacci\u00f3n convencionales. En la presente tesis se ha realizado un estudio cin\u00e9tico en un reactor discontinuo para luego estudiar y comparar dos alternativas innovadoras: la destilaci\u00f3n reactiva y el uso de reactores de membranas.
