Antonio de lara gavil\u00e1n, \u00abtono\u00bb y el cine.  se trata de un estudio espec\u00edfico sobre la figura de antonio de lara gavil\u00e1n, tono. Inicilamente se contextualiza al autor en el momento cultural donde comienza a desarrollar su  carrera, determinando las principales influencias en sus inicios como creador: el apadrinamiento intelectual de ram\u00f3n g\u00f3mez de la serna, las manifestaciones humor\u00edsticas en los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n, el influjo de las vanguardias europeas y la estr echa convivencia y colaboraciones con el resto de humoristas de la generaci\u00f3n del 27. Adem\u00e1s se desarrollan  unas notas biogr\u00e1ficas que perfilan la personalidad de tono y recopilan las experiencias vitales que, en ocasiones, influyeron en su trayecto ria laboral.
