Sus efectos neurot\u00f3xicos derivan principalmente de la inhibici\u00f3n de colinesterasas. Diferentes investigaciones han indicado efectos conductuales y cognitivos por exposici\u00f3n a cpf. En el presente trabajo, hemos estudiado los efectos neuroconductuales derivados de la exposici\u00f3n a una dosis aguda y dosis repetidas de cpf, en un modelo de rat\u00f3n transg\u00e9nico (tg2576) portador de la mutaci\u00f3n swedish, responsable de una  [+]forma familiar de la enfermedad de alzheimer. Se evaluaron los efectos sobre la actividad exploratoria, el aprendizaje y la memoria espacial y la coordinaci\u00f3n motora. Se determinaron la actividad acetilcolinesterasa, los niveles de beta-amiloide (1-40, 1-42), la proliferaci\u00f3n y diferenciaci\u00f3n celular y la expresi\u00f3n de bace1. Los resultados mostraron una mejora cognitiva en los tg expuestos al cpf. Sin embargo, observamos un incremento en los niveles de a en los tg tratados, que supondr\u00eda a largo plazo un empeoramiento del proceso neurodegenerativo.
