En este contexto, esta tesis doctoral ha pretendido estudiar una familia de compuestos polifen\u00f3licos en la pepita de uva, abreviadas como gspe, las cuales tiene un amplio historial de efectos beneficiosos, como pueden ser la reducci\u00f3n de \u00e1cidos grasos libres circulantes, efectos antioxidantes y antiinflamatoris e incluso anticancerigenos, los cuales pueden afectar indirectramente al metabolismo energ\u00e9tico y funcionalidad mitocondrial \u00abin vivo\u00bb. Para ello, se han estudiado el metabolismo energ\u00e9tico en general y el funcionamiento mitocondrial en particualr en diferentes situaciones, tanto a nivel de dosis de administraci\u00f3n de
