En los aceros, el desarrollo microestructural se lleva a cabo a trav\u00e9s de una serie de transformaciones a partir de la austenita. La mayor\u00eda de los modelos actuales utilizados para describir la evoluci\u00f3n microestructural se basan en resultados emp\u00edricos. Esto reduce su aplicabilidad a un rango limitado de composiciones qu\u00edmicas y tratamientos t\u00e9rmicos. Estos modelos describen la evoluci\u00f3n microestuctural en t\u00e9rminos de par\u00e1metros promedio, sin dar informaci\u00f3n acerca de la distribuci\u00f3n espacial.     en este trabajo se presenta un modelo en 3d utilizando un automata celular que simula la transformaci\u00f3n de la austenita en ferrita, bainita y martensita. Con el objetivo de ampliar la aplicabilidad del modelo, se utilizaron modelos basados en principios f\u00edsicos para cada una de estas transformaciones.   con el modelo num\u00e9rico desarrollado en esta tesis, es posible extender modelos homog\u00e9neos existentes para describir sistemas heterog\u00e9neos. El modelo da como resultado la cin\u00e9tica de la transformaci\u00f3n tomando en cuenta la heterogeneidad microestructural, al mismo tiempo que simula la evoluci\u00f3n microestructural del sistema.   el modelo fue formulado en una escala mesosc\u00f3pica. De esta manera, la influencia de los rasgos microestructurales en la evoluci\u00f3n de la transformaci\u00f3n pudieran ser caracterizados.  la validaci\u00f3n del modelo se hizo utilizando dos composiciones qu\u00edmicas y ciclos de calentamiento isot\u00e9rmicos y de enfriamiento continuo. La transformaci\u00f3n fue simulada partiendo de una matriz homog\u00e9nea y de una matriz multif\u00e1sica. Los resultados cin\u00e9ticos obtenidos con el modelo muestran una buena aproximaci\u00f3n con las curvas experimentales.
