A trav\u00e9s del an\u00e1lisis te\u00f3rico de estos movimientos, se observa de qu\u00e9 manera la mitolog\u00eda encajaba en ellos. As\u00ed, en los poemas del modernismo tard\u00edo, el recuerdo mi tol\u00f3gico se asociaba a menudo a la creaci\u00f3n de ambientes evasivos; en la vanguardia se empleaba para reforzar recursos humor\u00edsticos mediante el contraste entre la supuesta seriedad mitol\u00f3gica y las novedades del mundo actual; la poes\u00eda pura -especial mente en el gongorismo producido hacia 1927- se interes\u00f3 por la mitolog\u00eda puesto que ve\u00eda en ella un recurso de idealizaci\u00f3n o construcci\u00f3n de mundos perfectos; el irracionalismo, en cambio, mostr\u00f3 menos ejemplos mitol\u00f3gicos, del mismo modo que los m ovimientos intimistas y de poes\u00eda comprometida -todos ellos neorrom\u00e1nticos- como consecuencia de la asociaci\u00f3n entre lo mitol\u00f3gico y lo racional, y, quiz\u00e1, de la identificaci\u00f3n entre mitolog\u00eda y elitismo o poes\u00eda burguesa.  esta tesis ha intentado es tudiar una \u00e9poca, por lo que el corpus de autores analizados no se limita a los de mayor repercusi\u00f3n en la historia de la literatura; casi un centenar de poetas conviven en estas p\u00e1ginas, en las cuales sus poemas se enlazan a trav\u00e9s de sus relaciones  tem\u00e1ticas y estil\u00edsticas conformando un viaje por las obsesiones literarias de este fascinante periodo de la historia y la poes\u00eda
