Una gran parte de ella se encuentra cerca de biomol\u00e9culas fundamentales afectando a sus propias funcionalidades. Por ello el estudio del agua en sistemas confinados y en mezclas es un tema de suma importancia y las soluciones polim\u00e9ricas representan un sistema adecuado para este tipo de estudios. Los pol\u00edmeros son sistemas sencillos y pueden ser usados como modelos para estudiar los sistemas biol\u00f3gicos as\u00ed como para estudiar el comportamiento del agua en los procesos biol\u00f3gicos. Por otra parte, seg\u00fan el valor de la temperatura de transici\u00f3n v\u00edtrea del sistema, la din\u00e1mica del pol\u00edmero puede aparecer congelada con respecto a la escala de tiempo del experimento permitiendo estudiar la din\u00e1mica y la estructura del agua a bajas temperaturas y en una matriz conocida. Esta tesis doctoral est\u00e1 enfocada en la estructura y la din\u00e1mica de la soluci\u00f3n compuesta por poly(vinyl metil ether)pvme y agua estudiada a trav\u00e9s del uso combinado de t\u00e9cnicas de neutrones, simulaciones atom\u00edsticas de din\u00e1mica molecular, difracci\u00f3n de rayos x y espectroscop\u00eda diel\u00e9ctrica. En primer lugar se ha estudiado el pvme seco y luego se ha investigado la soluci\u00f3n con dos objectivos: (i) estudiar c\u00f3mo el agua afecta a la estructura y a la din\u00e1mica del pvme; (ii) estudiar la din\u00e1mica del agua en un entorno polim\u00e9rico a bajas temperaturas. El cap\u00edtulo 1 es una introducci\u00f3n 1 a los pol\u00edmeros y el agua, en el cap\u00edtulo 2 y 3 est\u00e1n explicadas respectivamente las t\u00e9cnicas experimentales utilizadas y las simulaciones de din\u00e1mica molecular, en el cap\u00edtulo 4 se estudian la estructura y la din\u00e1mica del pvme seco y en el cap\u00edtulo 5 la soluci\u00f3n.
