Para este estudio utilizamos un dise\u00f1o longitudinal con metodolog\u00eda cuasi-experimental. Distribuimos la muestra en dos grupos, grupo experimental (80 alumnos) y grupo control no equivalente de 40 alumnos. El programa utilizado consta de cinco talleres: 1.- Efectos f\u00edsicos y psicol\u00f3gicos del abuso del alcohol; 2.- El alcoholismo y sus efectos en la familia: el autoconcepto y la autoestima; 3.- Factores que contribuyen a mejorar o disminuir la autoestima y el autoconcepto; 4.- Roles que adoptan los miembros de la familia disfuncional; 5.- Co-dependencia emocional. Para evaluar la efectividad del programa utilizamos dos cuestionarios, cuestionario multivariable de la ingesta de alcohol en la adolescencia (repetto y senra, 1998) y cuestionario de autoconcepto forma af5 (garc\u00eda y musitu, 2001), en el pre-test antes de la aplicaci\u00f3n de los talleres; el post-test, una vez acabados los talleres y en el seguimiento, pasados cuatro meses desde la aplicaci\u00f3n de los talleres. Obtuvimos una mejora considerable en las puntuaciones en el test de alcoholismo tanto en el post-test como en el seguimiento, confirmando la efectividad de los
