La heterogeneidad fenot\u00edpica, fisiopatol\u00f3gica y etiol\u00f3gica de la esquizofrenia junto con la presencia de s\u00edntomas caracter\u00edsticos de la condici\u00f3n humana han dificultado la obtenci\u00f3n de un modelo animal que reproduzca todos los aspectos de la enfermedad lo que ha limitado el conocimiento de los mecanismos que operan en su desarrollo. sin embargo, se han desarrollado distintos modelos animales para probar hip\u00f3tesis o mecanismos fisiopatol\u00f3gicos espec\u00edficos, entre los que se encuentra el rat\u00f3n heterocigoto reeler. Este rat\u00f3n presenta una mutaci\u00f3n en el gen que codifica para la prote\u00edna reelina que origina una disminuci\u00f3n de la expresi\u00f3n de esta prote\u00edna similar a la descrita en varias estructuras cerebrales de pacientes esquizofr\u00e9nicos, lo que lo convierte en un modelo animal interesante para evaluar las consecuencias de la disminuci\u00f3n de esta prote\u00edna en la psicosis. en la presente tesis doctoral se pretende realizar la caracterizaci\u00f3n de los receptores d2 y 5-ht2a, dos gpcrs ampliamente implicados en la patolog\u00eda y tratamiento de la
