En el primer apartado se realiz\u00f3 un estudio comparativo del efecto de las fibras de carbono cortas (fc) y de las nanofibras de carbono (cnf) en los materiales compuestos de matriz de peek con el objeto de  valorar la influencia del tama\u00f1o y la cantidad de refuerzo sobre la micro\/nanoestructura en un segundo lugar se estudian los materiales compuestos constituidos de una matriz termopl\u00e1stica de polisulfuro de fenileno  (pps) y nanofibras de carbono. La finalidad de este apartado es estudiar los distintos m\u00e9todos de fabricaci\u00f3n termopl\u00e1stica existentes a nivel industrial para materiales compuestos aplicados a nanocomposites. En tercer lugar, se realiz\u00f3 un estudio sobre la poli\u00e9ter sulfona (pes) como matriz termopl\u00e1stica  amorfa. El prop\u00f3sito de  obtener compuestos reforzados cnt y cnf por separado en una matriz de pes es la de evaluar el efecto del tama\u00f1o nanom\u00e9trico sobre el comportamiento mec\u00e1nico y t\u00e9rmico de los nuevos materiales compuestos de base pes. En cuarto y \u00faltimo lugar de este cap\u00edtulo se realiz\u00f3 el estudio comparativo de los efectos de la incorporaci\u00f3n de nanofibras de carbono en las propiedades f\u00edsico-qu\u00edmicas de los termopl\u00e1sticos de alto rendimiento arriba mencionados (peek, pps y pes) a\u00f1adi\u00e9ndose un estudio espec\u00edfico por dma sobre la fragilidad din\u00e1mica de  los diferentes
