Sin embargo, sufre de una alta tasa de potencia pico a potencia media (papr), una caracter\u00edstica no deseable para la transmisi\u00f3n en el enlace ascendente ya que son necesarios amplificadoresde potencia lineales en los terminales de usuario con lo que se incrementa el coste de estos \u00faltimos. Esta problem\u00e1tica tambi\u00e9n aparece cuando se combina esta tecnolog\u00eda con acceso m\u00faltiple en ofdma. Sc-fdma se ha convertido en una atractiva alternativa a ofdma debido a su baja papr. Esta caracter\u00edstica ha hecho que fuera elegida para su implantaci\u00f3n en el enlace ascendente en la especificaci\u00f3n lte del 3gpp. En esta tesis se realiza un an\u00e1lisis matem\u00e1tico de las prestaciones de sc-fdma en t\u00e9rminos de ber y eficiencia espectral cuando se emplea esta tecnolog\u00eda para transmitir sobre un canal con desvanecimiento selectivo en frecuencia. En ambos casos se han obtenido expresiones cerradas que han sido validadas mediante simulaciones. Tambi\u00e9n se ha comprobado la adecuaci\u00f3n de las expresiones cerradas para aproximar valores reales de ber obtenidos para modelos de canales realistas definidos por la itu y el
