Siguiendo a chomsky, hauser y fitch (2002) que favorecen un enfoque interdisciplinario para lograr una mejor comprensi\u00f3n de la facultad ling\u00ed\u00bc\u00edstica, se aduce que la ense\u00f1anza y el aprendizaje de una segunda lengua puede tambi\u00e9n beneficiarse de este enfoque. Se analizan datos del ministerio de educaci\u00f3n, la consejer\u00eda de educaci\u00f3n de asturias y pisa, as\u00ed como informes de la organizaci\u00f3n para la cooperaci\u00f3n y el desarrollo econ\u00f3mico (ocde) y el consejo de europa. Se describe y analiza el trabajo de campo que se llev\u00f3 a cabo en el curso escolar 2007-2008, al mismo tiempo que se exponen las hip\u00f3tesis, objetivos, procedimientos y resultados del mismo.
