Esta tesis est\u00e1 basado en un dise\u00f1o de experimentos para 4 suelos situados en dos comarcas de la provincia de palencia (tierra de campos y cerrato), existiendo en cada comarca un suelo con cultivo de secano y otro de regad\u00edo. Las cantidades utilizadas de cada bio-residuo se calcularon de acuerdo a las necesidades de fertilizaci\u00f3n con nitr\u00f3geno del cultivo.  En cada suelo se realiz\u00f3 la experiencia para determinar el contenido de pcbs en un suelo control (suelo origen), suelo con lodo compostado, suelo con lodo deshidratado y suelo compost de rsu. Los valores de las \u00e1reas tratadas tuvieron un aumento de la concentraci\u00f3n de pcbs entre 3,7 y 11,5 veces superior que el valor respectivo de los suelos sin bio-residuos. El uso del bio-residuo lodo compostado fue el que mayor aumento gener\u00e9 en la concentraci\u00f3n de pcbs, seguido del compost de rsu y del lodo deshidratado. El perfil de los cong\u00e9neres en los suelos tratados cambi\u00f3 respecto a los suelos origen, lo cual indica la influencia de los bio-residuos en los suelos.   el contenido medio de pcbs en los bio-residuos estuvo comprendido en un rango de 34,08 mg\/g y 118,93 ng\/g, estando estos valores por debajo del valor recomendado por ce (800 ng\/g). En los suelos origen (sin bio-residuo) se encontr\u00f3 una concentraci\u00f3n media de 0,206 ng\/g, valor t\u00edpico de \u00e1reas con unos niveles muy reducidos de contaminaci\u00f3n
