Ambas actividades se encuentran estrechamente reguladas por el desarrollo ontogenico de la planta y por el estado de nutricion nitrogenada de la planta. La actividad nitrito reductasa (nir) tambien esta regulada por el desarrollo de la planta aunque en menor grado de la nr. La inoculacion con rhizobium provoca inicialmente una disminucion de las actividades nr y nir pero mantiene los tejidos activos por mas tiempo. Las actividades nr y nir fluctuan de forma definida a lo largo del fotoperiodo, presentando valores maximos en las seis primeras horas de luz y minimos al inicio del nictiperiodo. Durante el crecimiento vegetativo temprano v. Faba, a pesar de tener capacidad para asimilar el nitrogeno, crece preferentemente a expensas de las reservas de los cotiledones.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
