El peque\u00f1o repertorio de antif\u00fangicos, la toxicidad de algunos de ellos y la aparici\u00f3n de cepas f\u00fangicas resistentes ha impulsado el estudio de nuevas mol\u00e9culas con propiedades antif\u00fangicas. Por otro lado, la tasa de pacientes con c\u00e1ncer tambi\u00e9n ha aumentado en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, y el fracaso de algunas terapias demanda nuevas mol\u00e9culas con actividad anticancer\u00edgena. Basados en la inmunidad innata, los anticuerpos y sus derivados se han revelado como importantes herramientas para tratar y complementar las terapias antif\u00fangicas y antitumorales en vigor. en este trabajo hemos caracterizado la actividad antif\u00fangica y antitumoral de seis p\u00e9ptidos (h1, h2, h3, l1, l2 y l3) derivados de las regiones de complementariedad del anticuerpo monoclonal c7. La actividad antitumoral fue estudiada sobre seis l\u00edneas tumorales midiendo la actividad metab\u00f3lica de las c\u00e9lulas tras ser expuestas a distintas concentraciones de cada p\u00e9ptido y del mab c7, a trav\u00e9s del ensayo de reducci\u00f3n del mtt. Entre los seis p\u00e9ptidos analizados, el h2 fue el que mayor actividad antitumoral mostr\u00f3, seguido por el l1 y l3.   la actividad antif\u00fangica de los seis p\u00e9ptidos fue testada siguiendo la metodolog\u00eda publicada por el clsi. El p\u00e9ptido h2 fue de nuevo el m\u00e1s activo, incluso sobre cepas de levadura resistentes a antif\u00fangicos.   adem\u00e1s, aislamientos de candida albicans que s\u00f3lo crecen como levadura fueron m\u00e1s sensible al h2 que aquellos que s\u00f3lo crecen con forma filamentosa. Los p\u00e9ptidos l2 y l1 fueron otros los otros dos que mostraron cierta actividad antif\u00fangica. Aunque s\u00f3lo el p\u00e9ptido h2 mostr\u00f3 cierta actividad antif\u00fangica sobre aislamientos de fusarium solani y aspergillus niger, en general todos ellos fueron poco activos frente a cepas de hongos filamentosos. Sin embargo, el h2 en combinaci\u00f3n con voriconazol ejerci\u00f3 una actividad sin\u00e9rgica  frente a algunos aislamientos de hongos filamentosos. Esta actividad sin\u00e9rgica fue corroborada entre el h2 y el fluconazol en un modelo in vivo de candidiasis sist\u00e9mica, establecido con una cepa de c. Albicans susceptible dosis dependiente al fluconazol. La combinaci\u00f3n de ambas mol\u00e9culas aument\u00f3 la supervivencia de los animales infectados adem\u00e1s de reducen la carga f\u00fangica en ri\u00f1ones y cerebro. las actividades mostradas por el p\u00e9ptido h2 refuerzan la hip\u00f3tesis de su utilizaci\u00f3n solo o en combinaci\u00f3n en terapias antif\u00fangicas y antitumorales.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de
