El paclitaxel (ptx) es un f\u00e1rmaco antineopl\u00e1sico que act\u00faa estabilizando los microt\u00fabulos y se utiliza en numerosas terapias contra el c\u00e1ncer. Al ser un f\u00e1rmaco tan hidr\u00f3fobo, se e ncuentra disuelto en una mezcla de cremophor el y etanol para su posterior administraci\u00f3n intravenosa. Sin embargo, esta mezcla le confiere numerosos efectos adversos entre ellos las reacciones de hipersensibilidad. Con el fin de poder evitar tales e fectos a la hora de su administraci\u00f3n y mejorar los efectos terap\u00e9uticos del f\u00e1rmaco, se han preparado nanopart\u00edculas (nps) por la t\u00e9cnica de atomizaci\u00f3n y secado, y por la t\u00e9cnica de doble emulsi\u00f3n, con pol\u00edmeros biodegradables: poli (?-Caprolactona ) (pcl) y poli (l\u00e1ctico-co-glic\u00f3lico) (plga), en las cuales se incorpor\u00f3 el ptx. Se llev\u00f3 a cabo la optimizaci\u00f3n de los sistemas nanoparticulados en cuanto a tama\u00f1o, morfolog\u00eda, distribuci\u00f3n de tama\u00f1os, degradaci\u00f3n y perfil de liberaci\u00f3n in vitro.
