Dicho trabajo con- siste en el dise\u00f1o e implementaci\u00f3n sobre dispositivos programables fpga de sistemas digitales dedicados a la sincronizaci\u00f3n de equipos sobre redes de comunicaci\u00f3n empleando el protocolo est\u00e1ndar sntp. Estos sistemas presentan una serie de caracter\u00edsticas innovadoras respecto de las alternativas de sincronizaci\u00f3n existentes en la actualidad, ya que se trata de dispositivos aut\u00f3nomos, compactos, precisos y de bajo coste y consumo de potencia.   esto posibilita la integraci\u00f3n de servicios de sincronizaci\u00f3n en sistemas empotrados, de forma que no sea necesario emplear ning\u00fan dispositivo externo que elimine las ventajas de este tipo de sistemas. Sin embargo, la implementaci\u00f3n de estos servicios en hardware supone un reto ya que resulta necesario, por un lado, el desarrollo te\u00f3rico de algoritmos de sincronizaci\u00f3n y de sistemas de control del reloj adecuados y, por otro, el desarrollo de aspectos pr\u00e1cticos, como por ejemplo, la implementaci\u00f3n hardware de la pila de protocolos de comunicaci\u00f3n o la
