Teresa <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La prediccion de sensibilidad celular supone un avance metodologico considerable y puede representar una mejora potencial de gran valor terapeutico en pacientes afectos de cancer. El trabajo de investigacion se ha centrado en el estudio de distintos factores que afectan a la radiosensibilidad y a la quimiosensibilidad celular a distintos niveles que incluyen tanto los efectos de la radiacion o de quimioterapicos sobre proteinas celulares y dna como los efectos que son inducidos en respuesta a este da\u00f1o (parada radioinducida en las distintas fases del ciclo celular y muerte celular entre otras).  elementos determinantes de la radiosensibilidad celular han resultado ser, en nuestro estudio: 1)el da\u00f1o inicial y la velocidad de reagrupamiento de las rupturas dobles de cadena de dna inducidas por la radiacion ionizante; 2) radiosensibilidad y proliferacion celular inducida hormonalmente son procesos fuertemente relacionados entre si; 3) la respuesta a la radiacion, en terminos de induccion de p53, han resultado ser, por otra parte, elemento predictivo de la radiosensibilidad celular.  en el caso de la quimiosensibilidad se ha demostrado una correlacion estadisticamente significativa entre quimiosensibilidad y contenido celular en gsh y entre da\u00f1o quimioinducido sobre el dna y expresion de la glicoproteina p-170.  finalmente los mecanismos de respuesta de la celula frente al tratamiento con hipertemia parecen estar mediados por la expresion de la proteina p16.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral \u00ab<strong>Factores condicionantes de la respuesta tumoral al tratamiento citotoxico.<\/strong>\u00ab<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>T\u00edtulo de la tesis:<\/strong>\u00a0 Factores condicionantes de la respuesta tumoral al tratamiento citotoxico. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Autor:<\/strong>\u00a0  Valenzuela Claros M.
