En esta memoria, se presentan las aplicaciones desarrolladas con el c\u00f3digo geant4 en diversos campos de investigaci\u00f3n. este documento se divide en cuatro partes. En la primera, se realiza una breve introducci\u00f3n sobre el m\u00e9todo de monte carlo, con especial inter\u00e9s en su aplicaci\u00f3n al transporte de radiaci\u00f3n e incidiendo en los campos relacionados con este trabajo; posteriormente, se describen las principales caracter\u00edsticas del c\u00f3digo geant4. En la segunda, se muestran dos trabajos realizados a nivel de desarrollo del c\u00f3digo: una aplicaci\u00f3n para leer y escribir archivos de espacios de fase en formato del oiea (organismo internacional de energ\u00eda at\u00f3mica) y una revisi\u00f3n de los modelos de desexcitaci\u00f3n de fragmentos. En la tercera parte, se presentan las aplicaciones geant4 que hemos desarrollado con inter\u00e9s en radioterapia, en el estudio de efectos debidos a radiaci\u00f3n en aparatos microelectr\u00f3nicos y en f\u00edsica nuclear experimental, respectivamente. Finalmente, en la cuarta parte se recopilan las conclusiones y las perspectivas futuras de este proyecto.  abstract: &#8212;- the overall goal of this project is to open new research lines at the department of atomic, molecular and nuclear physics of the university of seville, related to the study of radiation transport through matter by means of monte carlo simulations. In this document, we present applications of interest in several research fields, developed with the geant4 toolkit. this document is divided into four parts. In the first one, we present an introduction on the monte carlo method, with special interest in its application to the radiation transport in fields related to this project; subsequently, we describe the main features of the geant4 toolkit. In the second one, we show two works realized at code development level: an application to read and write phase-space files in iaea (international atomic energy agency) format and a review of the modications performed to the de-excitation models of nuclear fragments implemented in the code. In the third one, we show the geant4 applications developed in this project with interest in radiotherapy, in the study of radiation effects in microelectronic devices and in experimental nuclear physics, respectively.
