Una opci\u00f3n novedosa y de bajo coste para obtener microestructuras ultrafinas son las t\u00e9cnicas de deformaci\u00f3n pl\u00e1stica severa. De todas ellas, l a laminaci\u00f3n severa acumulativa (arb) es la m\u00e1s prometedora desde el punto de vista de su implantaci\u00f3n industrial. en el presente trabajo, la aleaci\u00f3n de aluminio 7075, de elevado inter\u00e9s en la industria aeron\u00e1utica por su elevada relaci\u00f3n resistenci a\/peso, fue procesada por primera vez por arb con el objetivo de hacerla superpl\u00e1stica y mejorar su conformabilidad. El procesado se llev\u00f3 a cabo a diferentes temperaturas, empleando diferentes reducciones de espesor por pasada, hasta diferentes n\u00fame ros de pasadas. La caracterizaci\u00f3n de la microestructura y la textura del material procesado por arb mediante microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica, difracci\u00f3n de electrones retrodispersados (ebsd) y difracci\u00f3n de rayos x, revel\u00f3 la presencia de una microestructur a fina (hasta 355 nm) y altamente desorientada (hasta 33 ). Asimismo, se realiz\u00f3 la caracterizaci\u00f3n mec\u00e1nica del material procesado por arb mediante ensayos de tracci\u00f3n a temperaturas intermedias y altas (200-400 c) en un amplio intervalo de velocida des de deformaci\u00f3n (10-1 s-1-10-5 s-1). El gran afino de grano alcanzado mediante el procesado por arb permiti\u00f3 la activaci\u00f3n, en la aleaci\u00f3n, del mecanismo de deslizamiento de fronteras de grano, responsable de la deformaci\u00f3n superpl\u00e1stica. Adem\u00e1s, el material procesado por arb exhibe superplasticidad a velocidades de deformaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s altas y temperaturas m\u00e1s bajas de lo habitual, observ\u00e1ndose incluso alargamientos a rotura superiores al 200  a 10-2 s-1 y 300-350 c. Estos resultados son de eleva do inter\u00e9s tecnol\u00f3gico e industrial. En cuanto a las aportaciones cient\u00edficas, el trabajo profundiza en los mecanismos de afino y de deformaci\u00f3n de la aleaci\u00f3n y en la influencia de los par\u00e1metros de procesado en los
