Se trata de un tipo tumoral poco frecuente con una fuerte asociaci\u00f3n a la exposici\u00f3n profesional al polvo de madera. Los datos gen\u00e9ticos sobre los itac son limitados y debido al parecido histol\u00f3gico, la mayor\u00eda de los genes estudiados en la literatura est\u00e1n implicados en los adenocarcinomas de colon (acc). Asimismo, por su relaci\u00f3n con la exposici\u00f3n a polvo de madera, se especula que la inflamaci\u00f3n cr\u00f3nica pueda tener un papel en el desarrollo de los itac. Por todo ello, y con objeto de contribuir al conocimiento del proceso tumorig\u00e9nico de los itac, el presente trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n se ha enfocado a analizar el perf\u00edl gen\u00e9tico y los mecanismos moleculares de la inflamaci\u00f3n cr\u00f3nica implicados en su desarrollo,  estableciendo  la relaci\u00f3n existenete entre los datos observados en el tumor y el compartamiento
