Los interferones (ifns)  representan una gran familia de citoquinas solubles con actividad biol\u00f3gica y antiviral. Los ifns se dividen en dos grupos: los ifns no inmunes (alfa, beta e.T.C.) Y el ifn inmune (gamma). Los ifns no inmunes son sintetizados por la mayor\u00eda de c\u00e9lulas del organismo en respuesta a una infecci\u00f3n y est\u00e1n implicados principalmente en la respuesta antiviral. Sin embargo, el ifn gamma es producido principalmente por los linfocitos th1 y las c\u00e9lulas nk activadas y est\u00e1 implicado en la regulaci\u00f3n de la respuesta inmunitaria. El papel de los ifns en la defensa frente a infecciones bacterianas y virales en pez cebra y en la regulaci\u00f3n de la respuesta inmunitaria ha sido escasamente estudiado. En el presente estudio analizaremos el papel de los ifns de pez cebra durante el curso de una infecci\u00f3n bacteriana (streptococcus iniae) y viral (virus de la viremia primaveral de la carpa, svcv), utilizando sendos modelos de infecci\u00f3n. Utilizaremos t\u00e9cnicas de rt-pcr para  analizar la expresi\u00f3n de los ifns en diferentes tejidos y en distintas etapas del desarrollo y para el estudio de los mecanismos moleculares mediante
