La reacci\u00f3n de hidrodecloraci\u00f3n catal\u00edtica selectiva (hdc) se presenta como una nueva tecnolog\u00eda eficaz para una eliminaci\u00f3n segura de estos tipos de compuestos org\u00e1nicos clorados. Es por ello, que este trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n se ha enfocado en el estudio de nuevos catalizadores activos, selectivos y estables en diferentes reacciones de hidrodecloraci\u00f3n de dos familias de compuestos org\u00e1nicos clorados: 1,2,4-triclorobenceno (1,2,4-tcb-compuestos arom\u00e1ticos clorados) y el tricloroetileno (representativo de un compuesto clorado alif\u00e1tico). La primera parte de la tesis relacionadas con el hdc de 1,2,4-tcb, tiene como objetivo la obtenci\u00f3n de catalizadores activos y estables para la hidrogenaci\u00f3n del enlace c-cl en compuestos arom\u00e1ticos y la obtenci\u00f3n final del compuesto arom\u00e1tico org\u00e1nico declorado. Mientras que la segunda parte tiene por objeto la obtenci\u00f3n de catalizadores que permitan una gran selectividad a etileno y no hacia etano (hidrogenaci\u00f3n profunda del tricloroetileno) durante la hdc de tricloroetileno. Por otra parte se ha realizado un estudio profundo en la s\u00edntesis de estos nuevos catalizadores, as\u00ed como en la caracterizaci\u00f3n de los centros activos de dichos catalizadores, para su correlaci\u00f3n con la actividad, selectividad y estabilidad de dichos catalizadores.
