(suarez-cervera et seoane-camba, 1983).  se analizaron 622 muestras mediante el uso del microscopio optico y se reconocieron 88 tipos polinicos, asi como 31 formas fungicas. Tambien se llevo a cabo un estudio de regresion multiple y otro de analisis de varianza con un factor, para correlacionar los valores de los parametros meteorologicos frente a las concentraciones diarias de los tipos esporo-polinicos mas importantes en la ciudad de palencia.  los polenes que mayor incidencia tienen en la atmosfera estudiada, han sido los de poaceae, quercus, chenopodiaceae-amaranthaceae, populus y urtica. Las esporas mas abundantes resultaron ser cladosporium, seguidas por alternaria y nigrospora.  los mayores niveles polinicos estan entre los meses de mayo y julio, las esporas se hacen mas abundantes desde junio hasta octubre.
