Por este motivo y debido a que esta v\u00eda de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n se requiere para la homeostasis de muchos tejidos, urge un conocimiento profundo de los mecanismos oncog\u00e9nicos para una terapia selectiva de notch en tumores.   esta tesis doctoral trata de profundizar en los mecanismos moleculares por los que la v\u00eda de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n de notch promueve crecimiento celular en un contexto normal y tumoral.  Al comienzo de este trabajo se conoc\u00edan muy pocos efectores y cooperadores de la v\u00eda de notch, sin embargo, aqu\u00ed se presentan los resultados del an\u00e1lisis molecular de genes que cooperan con notch en crecimiento normal y tumoral utilizando como modelo de experimentaci\u00f3n la mosca del vinagre drosophila melanogaster.  As\u00ed, hemos identificado una conexi\u00f3n completamente desconocida entre la v\u00eda pi3k\/akt y notch en formaci\u00f3n de tumores invasivos.  El descubrimiento de forma independiente por el grupo del dr. A. Ferrando que esta misma cooperaci\u00f3n subyace a la formaci\u00f3n de algunos tipos de leucemias humanas valida la b\u00fasqueda gen\u00e9tica en el modelo de drosophila.  Este hallazgo supone un avance en el estudio de enfermedades provocadas por la desregulaci\u00f3n de la v\u00eda de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n de notch y akt y, abre las puertas para el desarrollo de tratamientos mediante terapias combinadas de inhibidores de ambas v\u00edas.  Adem\u00e1s, en esta memoria tambi\u00e9n se incluye un an\u00e1lisis de la relaci\u00f3n entre las v\u00edas de notch-akt en crecimiento y desarrollo de las c\u00e9lulas de la sangre de
