Son conocidos los efectos perjudiciales del estr\u00e9s, la ansiedad y la depresi\u00f3n destacando los infartos y los accidentes cerebrovasculares. Entre los numerosos abordajes para el manejo del estr\u00e9s se est\u00e1n destacando los basados en el estudio de la resiliencia. Entendida como \u00c2\u00bfhabilidad que no s\u00f3lo amortigua sino que permite aprender de los efectos del estr\u00e9s\u00c2\u00bf. Diversos autores han asociado y diferenciado, el sistema sangu\u00edneo abo con trastornos psiqui\u00e1tricos, tales como: la depresi\u00f3n, ansiedad, entre otros. Se ha determinado que las personas del grupo sangu\u00edneo o poseen un 25% menos de factor von willebrand (vfw) respecto a los no o (a, ab y b). Los altos niveles de fviii han sido relacionados a la enfermedad arterial coronaria, esto pudiera explicar porque esta enfermedad presenta alta preValencia en los tipos sangu\u00edneos a y ab. No obstante, debido a factores psicol\u00f3gicos, se ha sugerido que los individuos del grupo sangu\u00edneo o, cuando son del tipo personalidad a (hostilidad), pueden tener gran riesgo de infarto de miocardio en relaci\u00f3n a los del grupo sangu\u00edneo a. Es importante estudiar las asociaciones del estr\u00e9s, ansiedad, depresi\u00f3n y la resiliencia con par\u00e1metros hematol\u00f3gicos, para aportar datos a la comunidad cient\u00edfica general que permitan proyectar las medidas terap\u00e9uticas con mayor eficacia. Por ello nos propusimos determinar asociaciones de la resiliencia con el estr\u00e9s psicol\u00f3gico agudo, las emociones (ansiedad y depresi\u00f3n) y los par\u00e1metros hematol\u00f3gicos con especial referencia a los grupos sangu\u00edneo a y o y la velocidad de sedimentaci\u00f3n globular en estudiantes universitarios. La investigaci\u00f3n se realiz\u00f3 en la c\u00e1tedra hematolog\u00eda de la facultad de farmacia y bioan\u00e1lisis de la universidad de los andes, m\u00e9rida \u00c2\u00bf venezuela y el departamento de psiquiatr\u00eda de la universidad aut\u00f3noma de Madrid, espa\u00f1a. La muestra estaba constituida por 70 sujetos 35 mujeres 35 hombres, se tomo una muestra basal sin examen (sin estr\u00e9s) y una muestra con multiplicidad de ex\u00e1menes (con estr\u00e9s). Se aplic\u00f3 el cuestionario de estr\u00e9s diario -44, la escala de depresi\u00f3n ansiedad y estr\u00e9s -21, el \u00edndice de reactividad al estr\u00e9s -32 y la escala de resiliencia de connor y davidson y simult\u00e1neamente se extrajeron muestras sangu\u00edneas para procesar los diversos an\u00e1lisis hematol\u00f3gicos. Los datos se tabularon y compararon estad\u00edsticamente por spss 15. Los resultados obtenidos revelaron que: tanto en hombres como mujeres la resiliencia disminuye durante el estr\u00e9s psicol\u00f3gico agudo, dentro de este panorama las mujeres presentan mejor resiliencia respecto a los hombres, es decir, las mujeres pudieran afrontar y sobreponerse m\u00e1s eficientemente a los efectos del estr\u00e9s. Las mujeres del grupo sangu\u00edneo a al parecer son m\u00e1s resilientes que las del grupo sangu\u00edneo o. Entre los hombres no hubo diferencias de la resiliencia respecto a los grupos sangu\u00edneos. La vsg se acelera durante el estr\u00e9s psicol\u00f3gico agudo, pero no es un buen marcador biol\u00f3gico del mismo. El estr\u00e9s psicol\u00f3gico agudo expone al sujeto al borde del l\u00edmite de la trombosis, por lo que se recomienda a los especialistas intervenir en estas crisis existenciales y a los sujetos involucrados en este evaluarse el nivel de estr\u00e9s a trav\u00e9s de estos cuestionarios y verificar la evoluci\u00f3n del tratamiento con estas pruebas hematol\u00f3gicas.   resilience is the capacity to cope with problems and get stronger from them. The adverse effects of stress, anxiety and depression are wells known among which the heart attacks and the cerebrovascular accidents are remarkable. Among the different approaches to deal with stress we have those based on the study of resilience, commonly understood as \u00abthe ability not only to diminish but also to learn from the effects of stress\u00bb. Several authors have associated and differentiated the abo blood system with psychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety, among others. It has been found that people with type o blood have a 25% less of von willebrand factor (vfw) in relation to the non-o (a, ab and b). High levels of fviii have been associated to coronary artery disease; this could explain the reason why the disease has high prevalence in blood types a and ab. However, due to psychological factors, it has been suggested that individuals of blood group o, when they are type a personality (hostility), may increase the risk of myocardial infarction in relation to blood group a. It is important to study the association of stress, anxiety, depression and resilience to hematological parameters, to provide data to the general scientific community in order to project the therapeutic measures more effectively. Therefore, we proposed to determine the associations of resilience to acute psychological stress, emotions (anxiety and depression) and hematological parameters with special reference to blood groups a and o and the erythrocyte sedimentation rate in college students. The research was conducted at the department of hematology, faculty of pharmacy and bioanalysis of the university of the andes, m\u00e9rida &#8211; venezuela and the department of psychiatry at the autonomous university of Madrid, spain. The sample consisted of 70 subjects 35 women, 35 men; basal samples were taken without test (no stress) and a sample with a multiplicity of tests (stress). It was applied the daily stress questionnaire -44, the anxiety and depression scale stress -21, the index of -32 and the connor and davidson reactivity to stress resilience scale; simultaneously, blood samples were taken to process the various hematological analysis. The data were tabulated and compared statistically by the spss 15. The results showed that in both men and women, resilience decreases during acute psychological stress. In this scenario, women have better resilience compared to men, that is, women could more effectively address and overcome the effects of stress. Women of the blood group a appear to be more resilient than the blood group o. Among men there were no differences regarding the resilience of blood groups. The erythrocyte sedimentation rate is accelerated during acute psychological stress, but is not a good biomarker of it.
