Esta tesis doctoral se ha dedicado a esclarecer las rutas y procesos de exportaci\u00f3n bajo diferentes escenarios.  el uso combinado de medidas experimentales y del sistema de modelizaci\u00f3n rams-hypact con alta resoluci\u00f3n espacio-temporal, ha permitido describir (1) la salida masiva de contaminantes de origen europeo y polvo mineral de las regiones sahara-sahel al atl\u00e1ntico tropical y su posterior transporte al caribe y (2) el venteo del vapor de agua acumulado sobre la cuenca mediterr\u00e1nea occidental y su relaci\u00f3n con las intensas precipitaciones registradas en
