Aquellas personas concienciadas en el uso responsable de la energ\u00eda, debieran superar la termodin\u00e1mica tradicional (1\u00c2\u00ba ley: nada desaparece) y buscar la eficiencia mediante el criterio de la calidad de la energ\u00eda (2\u00c2\u00ba ley: todo se dispersa). el objeto de la investigaci\u00f3n ha sido el desarrollo de una metodolog\u00eda para el an\u00e1lisis, desde la perspectiva del criterio de exerg\u00eda y del an\u00e1lisis de ciclo de vida (acv), de la calidad de la fuente de energ\u00eda que utiliza un sistema tecnol\u00f3gico, como una medida de su sostenibilidad. esta investigaci\u00f3n conceptualiza lo que he denominado factor exerg\u00eda, que ofrece una visi\u00f3n conjunta de los efectos ambientales de un sistema tecnol\u00f3gico, a trav\u00e9s de su propio acv, la valoraci\u00f3n de la variaci\u00f3n de su exerg\u00eda y el acv de la fuente energ\u00e9tica que utiliza.
