En este contexto, las aplicaciones ubicuas permiten interactuar con el entorno, adquiriendo datos en tiempo real y actuando en funci\u00f3n de la informaci\u00f3n recibida. Monitorizaci\u00f3n medioambiental, sanidad, gesti\u00f3n de las ciudades, son ejemplos de \u00e1reas de aplicaci\u00f3n donde los datos en tiempo real son cruciales para una toma de decisiones inteligente y r\u00e1pida, y para una gesti\u00f3n eficiente de los recursos disponibles. La ubicuidad conlleva una implantaci\u00f3n extensiva de dispositivos y requiere total integraci\u00f3n con el entorno teniendo, por tanto, el menor impacto visual posible. La monitorizaci\u00f3n inal\u00e1mbrica ubicua de cualquier par\u00e1metro ambiental requiere el uso de nodos de sensores capaces de recoger datos ambientales y transmitirlos al usuario a trav\u00e9s de la red de comunicaci\u00f3n inal\u00e1mbrica. Los avances en tecnolog\u00edas de miniaturizaci\u00f3n y dispositivos de bajo consumo permiten realizar la mayor\u00eda de las aplicaciones imaginables.  Sin embargo, existen todav\u00eda limitaciones importantes para el desarrollo de algunas de esas aplicaciones ubicuas. En este sentido, hay una patente necesidad de nodos de sensores aut\u00f3nomos y auto-alimentados con alto nivel de integraci\u00f3n. Estas condiciones de miniaturizaci\u00f3n y eficiencia imponen estrictos requisitos a los elementos radiantes. la presente tesis expone los conceptos significativos en la integraci\u00f3n de los elementos radiantes en nodos de sensores autoalimentados miniatura. Aspectos relacionados con peque\u00f1as antenas, tales como miniaturizaci\u00f3n, acoplo, eficiencia y t\u00e9cnicas de medida, y con sistemas y circuitos, tales como arquitecturas de empaquetado, consumo, par\u00e1metros de circuitos activos y no-linealidades, son considerados en este trabajo. los an\u00e1lisis y estudios aqu\u00ed detallados tienen como resultado la conceptualizaci\u00f3n y dise\u00f1o de un nodo sensorial con alto nivel de integraci\u00f3n y autoalimentado con energ\u00eda rf ambiente, el cual transmite datos a 2.45 ghz y recoge energ\u00eda para su
