This study, conducted in the field of theoretical and computational chemistry, is of great interest because it allows to uncover many aspects of the reaction mechanism of these drugs, so far, not known or controversial. The results obtained nicely agree with the experimental data known to date, and hence it can be assessed that our work has given a sound explanation of the observed facts relative to the anti-malarial
