Y lo m\u00edstico es, en el tractatus, la conciencia de encierro ling\u00ed\u00bc\u00edstico. Es en este punto que la expresi\u00f3n de lo indecible y su imposibilidad dejan de plantearse como problema. Lo indecible s\u00f3lo se muestra, al estar contenido inexpresablemente en lo expresado. Y eso siempre que los l\u00edmites del lenguaje sean asumidos como su sentido. Pues bien, lo m\u00edstico aporta las claves para explicar el talante, el obrar y las reflexiones del compositor vien\u00e9s arnold sch\u00ed\u00b6nberg (viena, 1874-los \u00e1ngeles, 1951), as\u00ed como la instancia \u00e9tica inherente a su labor. lo que sch\u00ed\u00b6nberg quiere conseguir es una veradera m\u00fasica absoluta, que no del absoluto o de la idea (como lo es la de wagner seg\u00fan nietzsche). Su m\u00e9todo dodecaf\u00f3nico de composici\u00f3n es lo que, a su juicio, puede al fin hacerla posible. Pero el logro de esa m\u00fasica absoluta implica la renuncia a todo \u00abm\u00fasica expresiva\u00bb, que es aquella que pretende decir lo profundo o tener una intuici\u00f3n sustancial de las cosas. Las reflexiones de sch\u00ed\u00b6nberg acerca de esa renuncia a la voluntad de representaci\u00f3n y a lo metaling\u00ed\u00bc\u00edstico parten de una lectura nada wagneriana de los planteamientos de arthur schopenhauer sobre la m\u00fasica y de una interpretaci\u00f3n de las ideas que sobre el lenguaje tiene karl kraus (\u00abel lenguaje es la madre del pensamiento\u00bb). Y es con las lecciones que se desprenden de las obras de johannes brahms (\u00abel progresivo\u00bb) y de las de gustav mahler que sch\u00ed\u00b6nberg encara la teorizaci\u00f3n de los l\u00edmites del lenguaje musical. Eso supone conseguir la m\u00e1xima comprensibilidad en la extensi\u00f3n del dominio sobre el material ling\u00ed\u00bc\u00edstico,con lo cual se llega al reconocimiento del o
