Su posterior clonaci\u00f3n y la s\u00edntesis en bacterias de las prote\u00ednas recombinantes correspondientes, nos ha facilitado  la caracterizaci\u00f3n bioqu\u00edmica y la identificaci\u00f3n de posibles sustratos fisiol\u00f3gicos de estos enzimas. Por otra parte, el an\u00e1lisis de expresi\u00f3n g\u00e9nica en diversos tejidos de ratones deficientes en la metaloproteasa face-1 ha evidenciado la desregulaci\u00f3n de varios micrornas. Entre ellos, hemos centrado nuestro estudio en mir-1 y la familia de mir-29,  identificando algunos de sus arnm diana y demostrando que estos micrornas desempe\u00f1an importantes funciones en la
