<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El ajuste social y personal de los estudiantes adolescentes se presenta en la actualidad como un tema muy relevante como objeto de an\u00e1lisis as\u00ed como las posibles medidas de intervenci\u00f3n para promoverlo. \ten este nuevo siglo, los avances tecnol\u00f3gicos y cient\u00edficos promueven en los y las adolescentes cambios de actitud, de pensamiento as\u00ed como de expectativas en cuanto a su futuro tanto personal como profesional y laboral, por lo que es muy importante que, tanto su ajuste personal como social, le permita vivir en sociedad y satisfecho consigo mismo. \testa tesis presenta una investigaci\u00f3n en la que se realiza un estudio descriptivo con posterior presentaci\u00f3n de un modelo interpretativo, de la realidad de los j\u00f3venes adolescentes estudiantes chilenos que viven en la ciudad de iquique. \tla muestra utilizada est\u00e1 constituida por mujeres y hombres, de edades entre 15 y 22 a\u00f1os de edad, estudiantes  de nivel secundario y\/o universitario de colegios y universidades particulares y p\u00fablicas. \tlas variables psicol\u00f3gicas estudiadas y que se piensa promueven el desarrollo psicosocial de los y las adolescentes son el autoconcepto y la resiliencia, las que se ha comprobado que, aunque no son las \u00fanicas, son muy importante en dicho proceso. \tpor otra parte, se analiz\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n, como previo al desarrollo psicosocial y a la participaci\u00f3n del autoconcepto y la resiliencia, el apoyo social (familiar y de las amistades), estableci\u00e9ndose la relaci\u00f3n entre todas las partes formando as\u00ed el modelo que gu\u00eda este trabajo y se intent\u00f3 demostrar. \tla efectividad del modelo planteado ha sido analizada mediante la formulaci\u00f3n de ecuaciones
