Aplicamos la herramienta a datos p\u00fablicos de secuenciaci\u00f3n, lo que revel\u00f3 una inesperada abun- dancia de isomirs en diferentes especies. Ademas, detectamos todas las clases conocidas de otros srnas y de nuevos srnas con funciones desconocidas. Tambi\u00e9n estudiamos la implicaci\u00f3n de los mirnas e isomirs en el desarrollo y envejecimiento del cerebro humano, y en la enfermedad de huntington. Nuestros resultados resaltan una posible importancia de la plasticidad de secuencia de los mirnas, con probables consecuencias en la regulaci\u00f3n de la expresi\u00f3n g\u00e9nica, subyacente a varias funciones biol\u00f3gicas. Por \u00faltimo, seqbuster, podr\u00eda ser extremadamente \u00fatil para identificar nuevos srnas con una posible funci\u00f3n en determinados procesos
