Para ello se desarroll\u00f3 un sistema de detecci\u00f3n universal basado en el an\u00e1lisis de fragmentos its completos (arisa) o digeridos previamente con enzimas de restricci\u00f3n (trflp). Este sistema fue aplicado con \u00e9xito para la certificaci\u00f3n de plantas de q. Ilex inoculadas con diferentes especies de inter\u00e9s comercial como t. Melanosporum, t. Indicum y t. Borchii. La optimizaci\u00f3n del an\u00e1lisis trflp fue llevada a cabo mediante la comparaci\u00f3n de la diversidad generada in silico por diferentes enzimas de restricci\u00f3n, seleccion\u00e1ndose finalmente un grupo de 3 enzimas, maeii, bfai y bstni como las m\u00e1s adecuadas para la caracterizaci\u00f3n de comunidades de hongos superiores. Para responder a la cuesti\u00f3n de si este tipo de an\u00e1lisis puede ser llevado a cabo en cualquier grupo de ascomycetes hipogeos, se compararon los conceptos de especie linneano y clad\u00edstico en g\u00e9neros como tuber, choiromyces o picoa. El resultado fue que ambos conceptos coinciden en la mayor parte de los grupos, o coincidir\u00edan tras la adecuada revisi\u00f3n taxon\u00f3mica de los mismos que evite sinonimias y especies cr\u00edpticas. Sin embargo, se reconoce la existencia de grupos taxon\u00f3micos (p. Ej.
