De peso vivo a los siete meses de edad,buena conformacion carnicera y alta cotizaci\u00f3n en el mercado. Las orientaciones actuales de extensificar m\u00e1s la producci\u00f3n de carne de vacuno y la opci\u00f3n al cobro de la prima especial al ternero macho, justifican las investigaciones en este sentido.  para realizar este estudio se han utilizado 168 animales de la raza rubia gallega, valorando los rendimientos y conformaci\u00f3n de la canal, los par\u00e1metros cualitativos de la carne y la composicion de los musculos y de las grasas.  los resultados nos muestran crecimientos muy elevados y canales de clasificaci\u00f3n u de conformaci\u00f3n y 2-3 de estado de engarzamiento, con la carne de color claro, rosada y con elevado \u00edndice de amarillo, tierna y jugosa, con un flavor muy favorable debido al equilibrio en el perfil de los \u00e1cidos
