A partir de un conjunto de espectros de masa de los cuales conocemos la secuencia de amino\u00e1cidos que los produjo, hemos aprendido la distribuci\u00f3n de los iones y del ruido en el espectro.  luego, utilizando m\u00e9todos bayesianos hemos escrito una funci\u00f3n coste basada en estas distribuciones. El tama\u00f1o del espacio de las secuencias de amino\u00e1cidos impide inspeccionar una a una todas las secuencias posibles, sin embargo es posible mapear el problema en la b\u00fasqueda del equilibrio termodin\u00e1mico, en baja temperatura, de un sistema unidimensional, para el que se puede resolver el problema exactamente, a trav\u00e9s de la t\u00e9cnica de la matriz de transferencia.   en la segunda parte nos hemos centrado en la caracterizaci\u00f3n de la prote\u00ednas miotrofina, a trav\u00e9s de un simple modelo estad\u00edstico de tipo go, el modelo wako-saito-mu\u00f1oz-eaton. Este es un modelo que recuerda el modelo de ising incluyendo enlaces a larga distancia y admite una soluci\u00f3n exacta en el caso del equilibrio. Con este modelo hemos podido caracterizar el equilibrio (con soluci\u00f3n exacta) y la cin\u00e9tica del plegamiento, esta \u00faltima con una simulaci\u00f3n de tipo monte carlo sobre un conjunto de copias de la misma mol\u00e9cula, reproduciendo cualitativamente los resultados experimentales de cooperatividad (en el equilibrio y en la cin\u00e9tica) y de heterogeneidad de caminos a lo largo del proceso de plegamiento. Dado el alto grado de control sobre las simulaciones se ha podido caracterizar con muchos detalles los procesos cin\u00e9ticos de cada mol\u00e9cula llegando a sugerir la posibilidad que, a diferencia de lo normalmente aceptado, procesos de plegamiento y desplegamiento de estos pol\u00edmeros no sean necesariamente sim\u00e9tricos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
