De este nuevo vocabulario constructivo son un magn\u00edfico ejemplo la mayor\u00eda de los conventos turiasonenses estudiados, y que han merecido, en primer lugar, un estudio pormenorizado, y en conjunto, posteriormente. estos asentamientos religiosos corresponden a tres de las \u00f3rdenes reformadas o creadas durante la contrarreforma: el colegio de la compa\u00f1\u00eda de jes\u00fas dedicado a san vicente m\u00e1rtir y fundado en 1591; el cenobio de capuchinos de san jos\u00e9, establecido en la ciudad en 1599; el convento de carmelitas descalzas de santa ana, en 1599; la clausura de carmelitas descalzas de san joaqu\u00edn, en 1632; y el convento de carmelitas descalzos de santa teresa de jes\u00fas, trasladado a tarazona en 1680 desde la cercana localidad de novallas. adem\u00e1s de analizar la introducci\u00f3n de este nuevo lenguaje arquitect\u00f3nico en los cenobios turiasonenses, se procede a estudiar la pintura y la escultura que los decora. Asimismo, nos situamos en la tarazona de los siglos del barroco dando noticia exacta del origen y primeros pasos de estas construcciones y de la composici\u00f3n de los diferentes elementos, e indagamos en su transformaci\u00f3n a lo largo del tiempo, llegando hasta nuestros d\u00edas.
