La taxonom\u00eda tradicional no resuelve suficientemente el conflicto ex istente respecto al status legal de las formas que integran el complejo de especies aporrectodea caliginosa, en el que usualmente se ha incluido a a. Trapezoides. Los estudios moleculares m\u00e1s recientes dejan a. Trapezoides sin resolver adecuadamente ya que aparece envuelta en una enorme politom\u00eda (p\u00e9rez-losada et al., 2009). El car\u00e1cter partenogen\u00e9tico de esta especie dificulta en gran medida este tipo de estudios.   como objetivo general de esta tesis, se pretende contribuir al conocimiento de qu\u00e9 es en realidad a. Trapezoides, e intentar responder a preguntas sobre de d\u00f3nde viene, c\u00f3mo de variable es y c\u00f3mo se reproduce, contextualizando su situaci\u00f3n con el estudio de las relaciones filogen\u00e9ticas de todo el complejo a. Caliginosa. Para el lo, se realizar\u00e1n estudios a macroescala, mesoescala y microescala.  los objetivos particulares son:  i. Estudios a macroescala.   a. Filogeograf\u00eda de a. Trapezoides (cap\u00edtulos 2 y 3).  1. \u00c2\u00bfcu\u00e1l es la diversidad clonal de a. Trapezoides?   2. \u00c2\u00bfexiste n linajes diferenciados en esta especie? Si es as\u00ed, \u00c2\u00bfcu\u00e1l es su variabilidad gen\u00e9tica?  3. \u00c2\u00bfexisten diferencias morfol\u00f3gicas entre los distintos linajes?   4.  \u00c2\u00bfcu\u00e1les son las relaciones filogen\u00e9ticas de esta especie? \u00c2\u00bfc\u00f3mo es el patr\u00f3n de distribuci \u00f3n de los clones y linajes?   5. \u00c2\u00bfc\u00f3mo es la historia demogr\u00e1fica y evolutiva de a. Trapezoides? \u00c2\u00bfexisten diferencias a ese nivel entre los diferentes linajes?    b. Filogenia del complejo de especies aporrectodea caliginosa (cap\u00edtulo 4).  6. \u00c2\u00bfcu\u00e1les  son las relaciones filogen\u00e9ticas entre las especies t\u00edpicamente consideradas dentro de este complejo y otras muy similares morfol\u00f3gicamente, hasta ahora no estudiadas a nivel molecular (a. Giardi, nicodrilus tetramammalis, n. Monticola y  n. Caroche nsis)?\t  7. \u00c2\u00bfqu\u00e9 posici\u00f3n filogen\u00e9tica ocupa a.
